The Association of Agricultural Scientists of Indian Origin (AASIO) was formed during the 1980 ASA-CSSA-SSSA Annual Meetings in Detroit, Michigan. Today, its membership spans continents, promoting agricultural research and educational opportunities for scientists and students.
